Arkua<\/h1>\n

Hernaniko harresia<\/h2>\n\nHernaniko hiribildu harresituak bost sarbide zituen hasiera batean. Sarrera nagusiak 1855 eta 1856. urteen artean eraitsi ziren, eta Kale Nagusiaren eta Andre kalearen amaieran kokatuta zeuden. Hirugarren sarrera udaletxe zaharraren azpian zegoen, bi kale horiek bat egiten zuten gunetik gertu. Gainerako bi ateek kanpoaldearekin lotzen zuten zeharkako kalea (gaur egungo Felipe Sagarna \u201cZapa\u201d Kalea). Ojiba-arku xume hori da, hain zuzen ere, zutik geratzen den sarrera bakarra. Baina hori baino askoz gehiago ziren. Erdi Aroan, harresiak bi munduen arteko muga finkatzen zuen: ordenaren eta basatiaren arteko bereizketa; babesa eta arriskua; hiri-eremua eta landa-eremua. XIII. mendean, Alfontso X.a \u00abJakitunak\u00bb sakratutzat jo zuen barrualdea, magiaren eta erlijioaren arteko muga baten gisa, etsai desleial, epidemia eta gaixotasunetatik babesten zituena. Barrualdeko biztanleek \u2015burges bihurtuak\u2015 beren jurisprudentzia zuten eta pribilegio batzuk zituzten, kanpokoek ez bezala.
