Dorretxea<\/h1>\n

L\u2019Hernani defensiva <\/b><\/h2>\n

Hernani era un punt estrat\u00e8gic en les disputes territorials entre els regnes de Castella i Navarra. El 1180, el rei navarr\u00e8s Sancho el Savi<\/a><\/b><\/span> va fundar la vila de Sant Sebasti\u00e0, la qual cosa donava sortida al mar al Regne de Navarra. Anys m\u00e9s tard, el 1200 la corona castellana conquereix la denominada \u00abNavarra mar\u00edtima\u00bb, \u00c0laba i Guip\u00fascoa (Biscaia ja s\u2019alineava en l\u2019\u00f2rbita castellana a trav\u00e9s dels pactes duts a terme pels Senyors de Biscaia). Al llarg del segle XIII, diferents monarques castellans atorguen cartes de poblament a poblacions com Getaria, Hondarribia i a les que facilitaven la sortida al mar de Castella: Segura, Tolosa… i Hernani. <\/p>\n

Es creu que a mitjan segle XIII, Alfons X el Savi,<\/a>rei de Castella, va atorgar carta de poblament a la poblaci\u00f3 d\u2019Hernani, per\u00f2 no n\u2019hi ha const\u00e0ncia, ja que el document va desapar\u00e8ixer en un dels nombrosos avatars b\u00e8l\u00b7lics i incendis que van arrasar el nostre poble. <\/b><\/p>\n

La casa torre de Kale Nagusia 13 era un dels poderosos bastions que defensaven l\u2019acc\u00e9s a la vila. Una veritable fortalesa medieval, potent i pesada. Sens dubte, una joia amagada, que est\u00e0 catalogada com a monument historicoart\u00edstic, i que \u00e9s un dels nostres edificis m\u00e9s antics, possiblement del segle XIV. L\u2019habitatge era al primer pis i s\u2019hi accedia per una escala de pedra adossada, que es va enderrocar al segle XIX. <\/p>\n

El pas del temps ha anat transformant l\u2019edifici, que deixa de ser una fortalesa per convertir-se en habitatge. En conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, es redistribueixen i s\u2019amplien les plantes i s\u2019obren grans finestres. Tanmateix, aquests forts murs de carreus, la petita entrada d\u2019arc apuntat, la sagetera amb tronera i una altra s\u00e8rie de detalls ens parlen d\u2019un passat guerrer. <\/p>\n
