Avui \u00e9s 27 de setembre del 1924, dissabte. La pla\u00e7a Berria est\u00e0 a vessar. No hi ha parades de baserritarras, per\u00f2 molts comerciants aprofiten l\u2019ocasi\u00f3 per vendre de tot, amb la seva habitual destresa orat\u00f2ria. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Alguns li encarreguen cobles, generalment d\u2019escarni contra persones de conducta reprotxable. En passar per Kale Nagusia \u00e9s probable que la Joxepa Zubeldia<\/a><\/span>li respongui des del balc\u00f3 en un espectacular desafiament d\u2019improvisaci\u00f3. No s\u00f3n habituals les dones bertsolaris, per\u00f2 \u00e9s que la Joxepa no \u00e9s una dona normal. De jove va haver d\u2019anar a servir a Madrid. All\u00e0 es va casar, per\u00f2 quan el seu marit va emmalaltir, va haver de tornar al seu Hernani natal. Joxepa Zubeldia <\/a><\/span>va compondre uns versos contra la revolta popular, que el 1918 es va oposar a l’trasllat de malalts de verola a l’hospital d’Hernani.<\/p>\n

Va ser, principalment, l’acci\u00f3 de les dones de la vila la que va detenir aquesta imposici\u00f3 governamental.<\/p>\n

Durant anys, va ser un dels circuits m\u00e9s espectaculars de l’m\u00f3n i un dels favorits dels pilots. Un recorregut d’una mica m\u00e9s de 17 quil\u00f2metres que passava per les localitats de Lasarte, Andoain, Urnieta i Hernani. <\/p>\n

A principis del segle XX, Hernani viu una certa bonan\u00e7a econ\u00f2mica. Els carrers estan empedrats, il\u00b7luminats amb llum el\u00e8ctrica, hi ha oficina de correus i tamb\u00e9 tel\u00e8fon p\u00fablic. Per\u00f2 la gran revoluci\u00f3 l\u2019ha portada el tramvia, que des del 1903 comunica Donostia i Hernani. A la localitat s\u2019apropa molta gent de la capital per passejar, gaudir dels seus \u00absagardotegis\u00bb o degustar les del\u00edcies de la xocolateria Adarraga. Mentre baixen a l\u2019estaci\u00f3, coincideixen amb \u00abbaserritarras\u00bb que pugen al tramvia carregats amb el seu millor g\u00e8nere, i amb les bugaderes que porten la roba neta de la gent acabalada de la capital. Una vegada a bord i despr\u00e9s que el tramvia giri a la pla\u00e7a Berria, faran rumb cap a Donostia. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

El tramvia afavoreix el tr\u00e0nsit de persones i apropa les modes de la capital. Precisament, a la pla\u00e7a Berria es va edificar, el 1907, una casa preciosa, de vidrieres meravelloses i capella, d\u2019estil modernista d\u2019aire rom\u00e0ntic. Obra del fam\u00f3s arquitecte donostiarra Ram\u00f3n Cort\u00e1zar. <\/p>\n

En aquest ambient de floriment ning\u00fa no podia imaginar la mis\u00e8ria i el dolor que pocs anys despr\u00e9s portaria la Guerra del 1936, per\u00f2 aix\u00f2 \u00e9s una altra hist\u00f2ria.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
